Jones Finally Signs For Wolves

Jones Finally Signs For Wolves

David Jones has finally completed his move away from Pride Park to sign for Wolves for £1m.

Upon his departure Paul Jewell paid tribute to him, but he just wasn't in his restructuring plans, which are now in full swing.

'David is a cracking lad and has done very well for this football club, but it's a change which is another part of the re-building process here at Derby County.

'My focus is on continuing to reshape the squad for the challenge of a promotion battle this coming season.'

Jewell was speaking to the official website.

I wish Jones well. His leaving does not come as any surprise at all, the only real surprise is that it has taken so long for him to finally leave Derby.

Hopefully so for his sake as he spent a long time with you didn't he. Not all fans might be as forgiving though?
