Former Loanee Suffers Knee Injury

Former Derby loanee Hossam Ghaly has suffered a knee injury so any lingering hopes he might have had of making a permanent move to Pride Park are on hold, at least for now, after he tore knee ligaments in an Egypt match.

'I tore knee ligaments.

'Doctors say I will be out for three months, but I hope it would not hinder my chances of finding a new club.'

Ghaly was talking to FilGoal.

The 26-year-old spent the final part of last season on loan with us from Tottenham, but a permanent move wasn't looking on the cards anyway, despite this injury setback.
