Fagan on the outer at Rams

Fagan on the outer at Rams

Hull City have re-signed Rams striker Craig Fagan on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Fagan has failed to live up to the Rams expectation, since Billy Davies signed him, the 25-year-old joined the Rams for a fee of £1m from the Tigers in January 2007 but only scored two goals for the Rams in 46 appearances, and he hasn`t troubled the scorers in the Premier League.

Jewell has continued his cull of the Rams side and Fagan is obviously not required next season, and in his role at Derby, manly on the flanks, his final ball was lacking in the Premier League, after getting into a number of good positions in the games.

The loss of Fagan will put pressure on the rest of the squad, but when Jewell came out after the Wigan game and said there is players here who don`t want to be here, maybe Fagan was one the players Jewell was talking about?

Fagan was signed in time to make his second Tigers debut in Saturday's derby with Scunthorpe United.
