Good news for Rams skipper

Good news for Rams skipper

After a season of bad news on the injury front Paul Jewell has received some good news on skipper Robbie Savage, who could be back playing within two weeks - despite initial fears he could be out of action for up to two months with a foot injury.

The Rams skipper left Pride Park on crutches after Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham and there were concerns he had broken a bone in his foot. But a scan on Sunday has revealed only severe bruising.

The Welsh international is hoping to be back in action in fortnight, and with the Rams not involved in the FA cup this week the skipper may be back on Saturday, 23 February at Wigan.

Next game with Wigan is game you have to win. At least for pride's sake.
